Amazon Compliance Services

Selling on Amazon requires more than creating a listing. PGCS supports manufacturers, brand owners, importers and Amazon sellers in identifying applicable requirements, reviewing compliance evidence and preparing organized documentation for Amazon submission.

Overview

Practical compliance support for Amazon sellers

Amazon may request product compliance information before a new product can be listed or when reviewing an existing ASIN. Missing, inconsistent or unsuitable documentation may lead to document rejection, listing suppression, inventory restrictions or other compliance actions.

PGCS helps businesses understand what is required for their product and target marketplace. We review the available evidence, identify documentation gaps and support the preparation of a clear and consistent compliance package.

Our Amazon Compliance Services

Eleven areas of support, from assessment to submission

Each area below can be engaged on its own or combined into a full compliance package for your product and marketplace.

We review the product, intended use, age group, materials, specifications, manufacturing location and target Amazon marketplace to identify potentially applicable regulatory and Amazon documentation requirements.

Product & category reviewTarget-market assessment Applicable regulations & standardsReview of Amazon's compliance request Required test reports & certificatesCompliance document checklist Initial risk & gap summary

We review the seller's existing documents and compare them with the requirements applicable to the product and marketplace, including test reports, certificates, Declarations of Conformity, Children's Product Certificates, Safety Data Sheets, technical specifications, manuals, labels and packaging, supplier records, and Amazon performance notifications.

After the review, PGCS provides a clear list of acceptable documents, missing evidence and recommended corrective actions.

Where testing is required, PGCS can help identify applicable standards and coordinate with suitable independent laboratories — from quotation and sample requirements through to reviewing draft and final reports and organizing them for submission.

All testing is performed by independent laboratories. Required qualifications and accreditation depend on the product, regulation and marketplace.

PGCS can prepare or review supporting regulatory documents based on genuine product information and valid technical evidence — Declarations of Conformity, technical specification sheets, risk assessments, user manuals, warning statements, traceability information and a submission-ready documentation folder.

PGCS does not create, alter or replace laboratory test results, certificates or regulatory evidence that must be issued by an authorized third party.

We review product labels, packaging artwork, manuals and online listing information for consistency — manufacturer and importer identification, model and batch numbers, country of origin, required warnings, age grading, regulatory markings, language requirements, and consistency between the product, packaging, documents and listing.

For relevant non-food consumer products offered in the European Union, PGCS can assist with GPSR applicability assessment, economic operator requirements, EU Responsible Person coordination, risk assessment, safety warnings, traceability, online listing review and documentation package preparation.

PGCS can assist Amazon sellers in understanding Extended Producer Responsibility requirements that may apply to packaging, electrical equipment, batteries and other regulated categories — applicability assessment, WEEE and battery compliance review, registration coordination and periodic reporting guidance.

Registration and reporting requirements vary by country, product category and the seller's role in the supply chain.

Products containing chemicals, batteries, aerosols, liquids or other potentially hazardous materials may need additional information for storage, transport or fulfilment — SDS review and consistency checks, Amazon exemption-sheet support, battery documentation, UN 38.3 test summary coordination, and label and warning review.

Certain products may be subject to category restrictions, additional documentation requirements or marketplace-specific approval — restricted-product notification review, eligibility assessment, category-specific checklists, regulatory evidence review and response preparation.

If an ASIN has been suppressed or compliance documents rejected, PGCS can review the notification and help prepare an evidence-based response — analysis of the stated issue, review of previously submitted documents, corrective-action recommendations, appeal or response drafting and resubmission package review.

Approval or reinstatement is determined solely by Amazon. PGCS provides consultancy and documentation support but cannot guarantee acceptance, listing reinstatement or account reactivation.

Businesses with multiple products can engage PGCS for ongoing compliance management — product compliance file maintenance, new-product pre-listing assessment, document expiry tracking, regulatory update monitoring, marketplace expansion assessment and support for new Amazon compliance requests.
