01
Rules and regulations for use of the certification mark
All certificates issued by PGCS remain the property of PGCS and must be returned when requested. Certificate holders must ensure that no incorrect references to Precise Global Certification Services are made, and that certificates or marks are never used in a misleading way.
The PGCS Registered Companies logo is granted under licence to client companies that have achieved certification of their Quality, Environmental, or Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems through PGCS, following successful assessment against the applicable standard — ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001. Where a PGCS Registration Certificate has been issued under a different accreditation, the accreditation body's logo is used in combination with the PGCS Registered Companies logo, as applicable.
02
Precise Global Certification Services logo
The PGCS Pvt Ltd Registered Companies logo can be applied to stationery and publicity material relating to your scope of registration — including brochures, product cards, and advertisements.
The mark must not be used on laboratory test reports, calibration or inspection certificates, and must not be applied directly to a product or its packaging (primary or secondary) in a way that implies any individual product has been approved. Wherever the logo is used, the Certificate Registration number must also be clearly indicated.
The logo may be reproduced in a single colour of your choice, though where practical it should conform to your existing preprinted stationery, brochures, letterheads, or other promotional material.
03
Display of certification marks
The mark(s) must be displayed only in the appropriate form and colour. The certificate holder may enlarge the mark where necessary, provided the original proportion between height and width is not affected and the mark remains legible.
Minimum mark sizenot to scale
PGCS Mark(s)
25mm × 13mm·1 in × 0.5 in
Accreditation Logo
25mm × 20mm·1 in × 0.8 in
The mark(s) must never be displayed more prominently than the certificate holder's own logo.
The client's certification number, along with the PGCS and accreditation number, must always be displayed beneath the certification mark and accreditation symbol.
The mark(s) may be used as a die-stamp or an embossment, provided the defined colours are used.
04
Verification of use of marks (logos)
PGCS verifies the correct use of its marks by certificate holders during surveillance, recertification, and other audits, where applicable. Additional inspections are carried out for clients whose certification is suspended or has been withdrawn.
05
Accreditation logo
The accreditation logo may only be used in combination with the PGCS Registered Companies logo, and is limited to stationery, literature, and other written promotional materials. It cannot be applied to a product or its packaging, whether primary or secondary.
Where a client prefers to use a written statement instead of the certification and accreditation symbols, that statement must never imply that the product, process, or service itself is certified. Instead, it should reference:
Identification (e.g. brand or name) of the certified client
The type of management system (e.g. quality, environment) and the applicable standard
The certification body that issued the certificate
The accreditation logo must be reproduced in the specified Pantone colour, per the supplied artwork, or in a single colour matching the predominant colour of existing preprinted stationery, brochures, letterheads, or promotional material. It must never be used in a way that suggests the accreditation body — or the government organization it represents — has certified or approved the company's activities, or in any other manner that could mislead.
The certification body / accreditation logo may be uniformly enlarged or reduced, but never to less than 25mm in height.
If an accredited certificate holder fails to comply with these regulations, or uses the logos in a misleading manner, PGCS reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the certificate. In that event, the certificate holder must immediately cease using the logos and withdraw any existing stock of stationery or promotional material bearing them from further use. Depending on severity, this can include requests for correction and corrective action, suspension, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression, and, if necessary, legal action.
